Mission and Values
Organization’s Mission
Enhancing the quality of life of older adults by providing affordable housing in a caring, vibrant community.
Community Values
Social Responsibility:
As a community founded on living out the principals of the Christian faith, the commitment to live with and serve with your neighbor is essential as we share the space and place together. Each member responds to the need and recognizes the opportunity to strengthen community through their presence.
Respect:
The lives we live give testimony to who we are. The life experience of all individuals in this community invite restraint and control as we live and work together. Everyone recognizes that others have different preferences, styles and expressions.
Joy:
In recognition of life as a daily gift, gratitude is repeated in the words we share and the attitudes we express. As human beings, the community grows through encouraging all to address spiritual health and healing.
Inclusivity:
The non-discriminatory policies of our organization are backed by a far deeper conviction of the community’s strength resulting from the rich blend of culture, ethnicity and language. The effort to facilitate daily routines and healthy practices that are inclusive of all individuals reinforce comfort and familiarity.
Collegiality:
The investment into social interaction pursues an exchange of ideas, struggles and challenges with the belief that this dialog will increase our capacity to support and encourage another as each individual manages the complex elements of daily life and work.
