Produce truck – A produce truck comes once weekly to offer our residents fresh produce at good prices.

Volunteer teenagers – Cleaning Teens from area churches and schools offer free cleaning services for our residents.

Handyman – Our volunteer handyman, Paul Towler, visits DCT at least weekly to be the “man around the house.”

Jewelry Repair – A jewelry repairman and vendor visits DCT every other month to provide opportunities for jewelry repair. He also has jewelry for sale.

Food Pantry – We have a food pantry available for those residents who have a difficult time making ends meet. See the Director of Activities and Social Services for additional information.

Annual Flu Shots – A nurse from the Dekalb County Board of Health gives desirous residents their annual flu shot in the fall at DCT.

Atlanta Medical Center - DCT has a partnership with Atlanta Medical Center. AMC staff visits regularly to provide blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, vision, and hearing screenings.
